A STORY NARRATED FOR AHMAD TAUFIK.

TWIST-ENDING STORIES, wrote him.

This is a story of a familiar someone.

Who is stuck in a middle of something.

This friend of ours,

knows what he wants.

knows how to win.

knows when to start.

knows where to go.

Yet, he can predict it.

Other things are bound to happen.

These are not parallel.

These are not pleasureable.

But he is the author of his own fate.

His destiny is his major.

He has to be in control,

narrating the best possible storyline.

He loves twisted endings.

Same as you.

Because we are all writers.

Born to write, write and write.

Let us pray the Editor is on our side,

loving twisted endings,

loving this dear friend of mine,

and yours.

P/s: Generic he is used.

————————-

PREQUEL.

A he met a she.

Or rather,

a she met a he.

In a middle of nowhere,

anticipating dullness and complexity.

Stories intertwined.

So did the hearts.

Love blossomed.

So did the bond.

People swore on their love,

expecting a happy ending,

a Cinderella-like story.

Everything was nice.

Everything was good.

Someone sensed trouble.

Life could never be this fair.

Years passed.

Someone fell out of it.

Yet, hold on for the good old days.

Someone falls again.

Yet this time,

with a different being.
